AS A BILLING SPECIALIST
, you ll be responsible for reviewing patient account files for completeness and accuracy for submittal/approval to appropriate insurance companies.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL

- Have a high school diploma or equivalent - Have previous billing experience (preferred) - Have knowledge of medical terminology and insurance (preferred) - Have knowledge of government regulation, ICD-10/CPT and DRGs Codings (preferred) - Have effective written and verbal communication skills - Be detail oriented and accurate - Have proficient typing skills - Have integrity and be honest - Have a commitment to customer service - Have ability to pass Criminal Background Check


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
