PHE Nurse Aide - Generations - Part-Time

Penn Highlands Elk is seeking a Nurse Aide (NA) or Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to work part-time within the Generations Unit in St. Marys, PA.

AS A NURSE AIDE (NA) or CERTIFIED NURSE AIDE (CNA)
, you ll be responsible for assisting in the total nursing care for all patients within our ten-bed newly-built geropsychiatric inpatient behavioral health unit.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL

- Have a high school diploma or equivalent- Have current PA CNA Certification OR completion of Nursing Assistant course OR completion of clinical medical assistant program OR completion of one semester of nursing school (RN or LPN program) OR current experience as a nursing assistant- Have previous psychiatric experience (preferred)- Have BLS Certification on hire or within 3 months- Have CCM, or will complete within 6 months of hire- Have effective communication skills- Have ability to pass Criminal Background Check- Have ability to meet physical requirements of position- Have ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays- Be a team player

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
