Description/Job Summary
Under the direction of the IT Department Manager, responsible for analyzing, defining, testing and documenting application systems to support the needs of the business.
Responsibilities include:
Maintain computer systems, programs and equipment by writing and updating policies and procedures
Contribute to systems design, analysis, development and improvement
Design, create and maintain programs that increase the functionality and allow interfacing to the ERP system.
Provide technical assistance to users regarding errors, hardware problems and questions concerning IT applications.
Install and setup new hardware and software.
Assist with the installation and maintenance of the telecommunication systems
Evaluate new equipment for functionality and technical advantages
Education
Minimum Associate degree in Information Technology or related computer field
Experience
Manufacturing environment utilizing an ERP system (JDE preferred)
Skills
Java programming
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong communication skills
Customer service focusEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
